December
2007

Early December was the Digitally Projected Images Knockout at Rochdale & District CC. This is a novel competition, over 3 rounds, 4 images in each. The lowest scoring clubs go out in each round but the score isn't carried forward. The trick is, to use good enough images to stay in but save the best until last for the 'head to head' of the 2 best clubs in the final round. SLIC got to the final round but didn't reach the 'head to head'. The judge was Gordon Jenkins of Chorley, and President of the L&CPU. Top scoring images from SLIC were Sarah by Norman Piper (20) with Clown and Dryad by Maureen Glynn (both with 19.5)
